The Bordentown Scotties and Lakewood Piners will face off in the New Jersey high school football playoffs on Thursday, November 9th at 2: Saturday, October 22, 6:30 PM ET, Bordentown High School. The Scotties are five losses and four wins while the Piners are eight losses and three wins.

Quarterback Ryan Wood has recorded more than 1,500 passing yards and 15 touchdowns for his team, the Scotties, during this season. The wood is another player to watch when running down with the ball because he averages more than five yards per carry. Moreover, the Scotties can boast of a decent run-backer John Smith, who has accumulated over 740 yards with ten touched downs during this season.

Jake Williams, quarterbacks of the Piners have passed for more than 1,000 yards and 10 scores in this season. Williams can also run with the ball and his average of about four yards per carries poses a danger. Mike Jones also carries the ball for the pines and has surpassed 600 yards and eight touchdown rushing in his team’s campaign.

Despite being the favourites, the Scotties will not be an easy win for the Pinners because they also possess a strong and talented team. To win, the Scotties have to harass William into turnovers. In order to beat, the Piners will have to make good runs, while keeping wood off the field.
